Autoflightbook is a free and open-source Android app for automatically logging paragliding and hang gliding flights. It runs a background GPS service that detects take-off and landing events based on configurable speed and proximity thresholds, then records the full GPS track and stores all flights in a local database.
Key features include an interactive flight logbook with speed charts and OpenStreetMap-based track maps, manual flight entry, flying site management with GPS coordinate import from paraglidingearth.com, and a GPS diagnostics screen. All thresholds (start/stop speed, minimum duration, site match radius) are user-configurable.
Built with Kotlin, Room, OSMDroid, and standard Android APIs — no Google Maps, no ads, no tracking, and fully offline-capable.
