Model downloads are verified against a pinned SHA-256 before installation,
where the publisher provides one to pin -- one of four registry entries; the
others are documented as unpinned, with the reason, rather than pinned
against whatever happens to be on a given disk.

Fixes a download that could not complete: the VitMatte entry fetched
model.safetensors, which that HuggingFace repository does not publish, so a
fresh install of the alpha-matting model answered 404.

Batch state is JSON in SQLite rather than pickles, removing sqlitedict and
PYSEC-2026-1939 with it. BatchTemplate.save() no longer edits the template
it was asked to write.

Repository health: ruff, pyright (basic, zero errors across 107 files),
compileall, pip check and pip-audit all gate every pull request, every push
to main, and a nightly run. Every file is under 800 lines and every
production signature is annotated.

Verified on this commit: 601 passed / 248 deselected, gui smoke 1 passed.
