Hello 👋

I'm a Software Engineer specializing in Ruby on Rails, though I also enjoy learning about infrastructure and tinkering with my Linux setup. Before joining GitLab, I worked at a couple small companies, on projects like energy performance systems, developing a learning courses platform and managing parts of the infrastructure. Outside of coding I enjoy gaming with friends and solo, as well as hiking, exploring and cycling.

As of the time of writing this, I've mostly been playing Horizon Forbidden West and Enshrouded as well as getting back into bouldering. I also go to a weekly Chess club. I'd like to one day join a competition, but don't have high hopes of winning 😁.

I joined GitLab in July 2024 as an Intermediate Backend Engineer for the Foundations: Import & Integrate team. Since then I've moved to the AI Catalog team, become a senior engineer, and a backend and database maintainer of the GitLab project.

I hope if we've worked together, it's been a good experience for you and you would enjoy working with me again.
