A language-independent test protocol and library collection enabling tests to be written in any language and executed with various test runners. Unlike TAP, exeter prioritises parallel execution and stable test IDs, separating test language choice from test runner choice. Supports Python, C, and Shell with integrations for Meson, Avocado, and BATS frameworks.
