In diesem Vorkurs wird eine moderne, containerbasierte IT-Infrastruktur aufgebaut. Dafür werden virtuelle Maschinen in einer Cloud-Umgebung eingerichtet und über ein Netzwerk verbunden. Anwendungen werden mithilfe von Docker und Podman in Containern betrieben und mit Kubernetes verwaltet.

Zur Automatisierung kommt eine CI/CD-Pipeline mit GitLab zum Einsatz, um Updates und Bereitstellungen effizient durchzuführen. Zudem werden grundlegende Sicherheitsmaßnahmen integriert.

Der Vorkurs vermittelt praxisnah die wichtigsten Konzepte von Cloud-native Technologien, DevOps und Containerisierung und schließt mit der Möglichkeit einer Linux Essentials Zertifizierung ab.
