Horizon, developed by Bharath App Studio, is a sleek Android utility designed for users who want a cleaner, more private browsing experience without the technical headache. By leveraging the VpnService API to route traffic through AdGuard DNS, the app effectively neutralizes ads, trackers, and malicious sites at the network level. The experience is wrapped in a modern Material 3 interface featuring a minimalist dark theme and secure Google Sign-In, offering a seamless "set-and-forget" approach to mobile privacy with a simple one-tap toggle.

This is a course in Android development. It assumes that the students know how to program, but not necessarily in Kotlin. The early blocks introduce Kotlin syntax as needed. For the BFO, this is offered as two 10-week courses for the EMVs1/EMVs2 students. It is also offered in compressed form as a block course at the FHNW.
