animated .Gif example with tk9.0

I wanted to do something like in this AntiGif: https://wiki.tcl-lang.org/page/AniGif But I think the photo_gif example with the provided file "w3c_home.gif" is nok. I downloaded this random gif https://i.gifer.com/1uoA.gif and used that in the photo_gif.go. It worked but it didn't animate. Is that normal or do I need a special gif for it to work?
